Negative communication can often impede a family's interactions with each other. We work to guide your family through the understanding of negative communication styles and toward each member of the family developing skills that help them better communicate. Family issues often involve more than one party, so it encompasses several sessions with the whole family and several with each member. It is common for each member to have their own individual therapist in addition to their work in Family Therapy. We find this helps long term with the issues brought to the attention of the therapeutic team.
We believe that you are deserving of love and belonging and that sometimes we get lost. We don’t want you to be stuck in a perpetual cycle of therapist after therapist, trying to figure out how to unpack your emotions. We want you healthy, and ready to move on to the next step in your life. We want you to have the freedom to say, “I unpacked that!”
